Your contract ventures remind me of a conclusion I came to years ago: A disproportionate things are started by people who don't finish stuff. Why? Cause the people who finish stuff are busy finishing what they started, so they don't have the time to start as many things! People who finish what they started are also much more cautious about starting stuff, knowing what it takes to finish.

The list of mistakes that Robert said it affected his career ________________________________________________________ 1) Do not work for shady startups 2) Do not work if the pay is not guaranteed 3) If payment issues appear (e.g. late payment, stalling tactics) leave immediately 4) Try to go with the employment route at the beginning to solidify your career. 5) Do not start to build a personal brand without a solid capital. 6) Associate yourself with meaningful products that garner positive reputation.

As a broke 32-year-old loser staring down the barrel of 33, I really needed this advice in order to stay on track. Thanks.
